As we embark on the 4th Annual Pharmacy Mission to Vietnam, we are humbly grateful to Temple University School of Pharmacy. Without the support and confidence of Dean Peter Doukas, The APPE office, Faculty, Staff, and Administration, this would never be possible. We are grateful to be partnering again with Mercer University, School of Biomedical Engineering. Please enjoy our experience with us!

Accident at 2 years-old
This young boy was not on our list of invited patients. Even though we had scheduled 110 patient for the morning session, we couldn’t let this boy go untreated. When he was 2 years old a traumatic accident occurred where a piece of heavy equipment fell on his right foot, crushing it. They attempted a surgery, but with little success. His foot only contains the great toe, and the 4 other toes are gone. His ankle is abducted so he walks on it very awkwardly. He came into the clinic with a severe wound on his foot. We were able to clean the wound and fit his ankle with a brace from some spare materials. At least now he can walk close to normal and avoid the constant cuts and wound from daily like as a child!!!
